Magazines in Asia

I am really interested in all Asian tradional & pop cultures, especially Japanese & Korean, etc. I would was wondering if anyone knows any magazine publications out in Asia that publishes work written in English or publications that will translate work submitted in English. The magazine I only know is one: Kateigaho International Edition, & I still need to research if Kategaho offers permanent job & freelancing postions.

And has anyone worked or studied in an Asian country, especially working as a journalist. What was your experience like, the income & how long did you stay?
