I’ve never worked there but I grew up in Westchester; it’s about 45 minutes from the city on the train and as I recall it’s pretty close to the train station. There are always cabs at the station if you’re getting to the interview; not sure what the protocol is on a daily basis.
You got me scared! Although, web seems to be doing much better than print, these days. But, I have heard of cases where people were hired and then laid off within a couple of days! I hope this is not the case. Do you think it would be stupid to ask about recent layoffs during my interview?

mind if i ask what you’re interviewing for? i’ve heard from a friend there are major layoffs and they are outsourcing left and right
