I have been out of college for a year. Could not make the move immediately to NYC because of $$, etc. But now I am here! I have experience (published clips, internships), but I dont think it is enough. How smart or stupid is it to pursue a post-graduate internship? I would be going after stuff in PR not really editorial. Also is there an ED2010 type site geared more toward PR? How many of you received job offers after your time at said internship?

I graduated in May too and am on my 2nd post college internship even though I went to a really good college and have a lot of experience and clips. I live in NYC and support myself by working part time 4 days a week. My internship is 3 days a week, which figures out to…zero days off a week. It isn’t a fun or glamorous life at all but if you really want something, you have to make sacrifices and work for it.
Don’t be afraid of moving to NYC. It’s doable even without help from your parents.
