Out Traveler seeks fall photo intern

Out Traveler, the leading LGBT luxury travel magazine in the U.S., is seeking a creative, independent and energetic unpaid Fall photo intern in its New York office three days a week (10am-6pm) starting in September. The internship lasts three months, or the full production period of one issue.

Responsibilities will include photo research; arranging photo shoots; researching/casting models; researching/scheduling photographers for shoots; creating call sheets; location scouting; invoicing clients and day-to-day administrative duties (which we all share!).

Applicants should have a basic understanding of Excel, Photoshop and InDesign. The candidate should also be detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, punctual, a problem solver and able to communicate in person, via email and by phone. Experienced travelers and knowledge of photography preferred.

The chosen candidate will gain invaluable experience at a national publication while working directly with the editors, designer and photo editor.

Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume and examples of your work or link to portfolio to bryan.kasm@regentmedia.com.
