Ok so I recently did a phone interview for an Associate Editor position for webMD and the recruiter asked what was my salary requirements and I gave a range of 38k-42k, but after doing some research I realized I could have said a higher range. Based on my experience and education I should have said 42k-46k. I am scheduled for an interview, so is it ok to change the range when asked again at the interview?
Also does anybody work for WebMD or knows anybody who does? Would love to know the work environment there?

Yes you can change your requirements
It’s part of salary negotiations anyway. You know you’re worth at least that, so don’t be afraid to state your requirements. You can always act like you are fielding other offers, and that you expect them to be competitive.
A friend of a friend works
A friend of a friend works there as an associate editor - she wouldn’t say how much she makes. Our guess was that she made substantially more than we did and didn’t want to make us feel bad (she used to work at the same place, and it pays terribly). We made in the low 30s. It sounds like a decent place to work, however - not too stressful.
I find that if they intended
I find that if they intended to pay a bit more, they’ll usually offer you that anyway (I said 40k for my associate editor job and they told me they would pay 50) but when you get in, I would just emphasize that you expect to be fully at the 42k end of things because of your qualifications. Good luck on the interview!
