HR help

I was given the CN hr contact through a woman who’s high up at Allure because she told me that they don’t have any internships at their LA office (now I don’t know if she just meant summer or none at all) but I’d like to email the HR contact about a fall internship in LA but I’m not sure how I’ll go about that in the email besides name dropping the woman I know who referred me. Any pointers?
