I’ve written articles for my college newspaper. I’ve had internships in law firms and radio stations, but not too much with magazines. I’m published in the Chicken Soup Book series. I’m an honor student in a top 5 journalism school, but…

I want to break my way into the magazine industry with freelancing.

How do I start? Who do I contact? What should my cover letter include?

What are some good places that would be interested in someone with little magazine experience, but lots of skill? Anything online?

Any tips would be SO helpful!
