I interned at a Fitness Magazine while also interning for their lifestyle magazine which was all under the same publisher. My interest is in Fashion, but I got more clips and experience writing for the Fitness Magazine. It was a good environment because I got to meet some of the models for our cover shoots as well as some of Atlanta’s infamous athletes (Falcons, Hawks, Thrashers players). They had more contributing writers so I didn’t have to do much research for writing articles and features. I did mostly buzz features on products, athletic gear, nutrition, etc. I also wrote monthly features on travel like spas, golf resorts, etc. Hope this helps!
