i had an interview for an internship last monday and the editor said i should hear from her in the middle of next week which was yesterday…is it okay to send a follow up today or should i wait until friday or monday?
I would wait until Monday. Give him or her the rest of the week to get back to you; things can usually get pretty crazy in the middle of the week. A polite follow-up e-mail mid-morning Monday would be completely professional, though. I would recommend waiting until a little later in the morning/day to send it so he or she has time to get through all the Monday morning e-mails.
