How long have you typically waited to hear back on an edit test? Specifically, with a big publishing house (Hearst, Time Inc., etc). Thanks!

If they want you, you’ll hear back immediately—at least that’s the deal at Conde.
Give the editor two weeks and politely email one more time. If she doesn’t respond, then I would move onto another job.
