OKay so basically I am trying to get an internship for the summer which is proving difficult probably because I am not in the city, but lets face it internships are almost a must right?
So anyway I was just wondering if a lot of editors or people who are in charge of hiring interns or even staff ever check facebook and/or myspace because I was wondering if that could hurt me even though my pages are pretty dang boring, but you know things like photos and everything can hinder people in other jobs so I was just wondering, hopefully someone has a good answer.
And if facebook and myspace is an issue is it recommended to shut down the pages because lets face this too those two things are evil and I think it has gotten to the point where some people would not know what to do with out the pages since they are used for communication…which is nice, but email works fine for that too…
Sorry I’m rambling, but I was just wondering.
