Transitioning into fashion editing...

Hi all,

I am currently an architecture student (3rd year) who is trying to find out how to transition into the fashion industry (while still in school). I know that I want/need to be in fashion, and am excited at the prospect of an internship in the fashion department (hopefully) at a legitimate fashion/style magazine. As an architecture student, I am almost clueless to the fashion industry’s inner-workings and am doing my best to network and learn as much as I can.

In coming on to the site and posting, I am hoping to gain some insight into any dos and dont’s of applying, to find out contact information, and just to talk to and meet others interested in fashion.
