Hey Guys!
The Ed2010 chapter at Howard University bka Cover2Cover will be holding it’s fifth annual magazine conference entitled “The Masthead,” April 25-27, 2008. This is the only conference of it’s kind as it is completely student produced and geared towards ambitious glossy hopefuls so we encourage edsters to register! Previous panelists have included VIBE’s (then EIC) Editorial Director and Vice President Danyel Smith, Jane columnist and novelist Mitzi Miller, beauty expert Tia Williams, CosmoGIRL! EIC Susan Schulz, Heart & Soul’s Kendra Lee, People Magazine’s Linda Kramer, and several other amazing magazine professionals. Students from all schools and all classifications and majors are invited to register.
Save the Date packages will be sent to the career and journalism departments of schools along the east coast on March 3rd but I can send packages to any interested edsters, especially those in magazine related student organizations and could help spread the word! Leave a response with your preferred email contact to be added to the mailing list as well as any questions you may have.
