has anyone heard back from HR after their interview? or has anyone participated in the program on the board? i have my interview tomorrow but i’m wondering when we’ll be hearing back with decisions… i have another internship on hold because of this one. on the website it mentions that all decisions will be made by late march, but i was just wondering if accepted interns find out sooner rather than later. thanks!

How does the Conde Nast internship program work exactly? If you get accepted, do they assign you to any magazine? I’m a fashion merchandising major and I’m not looking to intern Golf World or anything like that.

I was accepted earlier on (a day after my interview in late feb, actually) because I had another internship lined up at Conde which was dependent on my acceptance for the program… I guess since they ‘re all under the same HR they wanted to save the headache and just give me an answer straight up. They called me again a couple weeks ago (maybe 2 weeks ago?) confirming extra details and giving me the name of my mentor and such. =) Good luck to everyone- and since this is a topic of interest from the other thread, I am an upcoming senior in college.

RELAX :) I did the program last summer. I didn’t hear back until like late march/early april. And you only have like a day to accept/decline, so everyone finds out around the same time.

thanks all! i just had my interview and it went pretty badly… i’m pretty sure i won’t be getting an offer. they said that there were about 5700 applicants and they only accept about 85 interns.

Conde Nast Summer Internship

I also applied to the program. I believe you just create a profile through their website and they will get in touch with you when the time comes (late March/early April). That’s my understanding of it, anyways. If I’m wrong, someone correct me.

WOW… i just got accepted

WOW… i just got accepted today!! i had an internship lined up at another conde nast publication over the summer, and she needed to know my availability ASAP. so HR made the decision for me because of my situation… i’m so excited!! i thought my interview had gone badly because i didn’t answer the questions as well as i’d liked to, but i guess they were good enough! good luck everyone!

p.s. they contact you in late march about their decisions based on interviews. they did mention that they reply to every app they receive, so everyone will be receiving decisions around then.

The woman from HR contacted me last week offering me a slot. Where is everyone else working? She told me I’m supposed to get something official via email…has anyone received anything? Also, do we have to get any kind of documentation from our school?
