I am 17 years old (am a junior in high school) and will be interning in the fashion department of a Hearst magazine this summer in New York City.
I am extremely stumped about housing though — are there places that allow 17 year old girls to stay? I was thinking about the NYU dorms but they close summer housing on August 4th and my internship will not be over by then (it’s for school-credit). Thanks so much!

Stay at webster
Webster is def your best option. I can’t stress this enough. You can’t have friends male or female stay in your room later than 12 pm, and u can’t ahve any males in your room. But its on 34th street, amzing location, you get great food, and its an amzing price. Its like a dorm but prettier accommodation!
Im in Ny for 8 months, and I m considering moving there while i intern at Instyle 4 the summer, just because its so easy and SAFE!
