Hey guys-
I need some advice. I graduated in Dec ‘06 with a BA in Radio, TV, Film and I decided that I want to write for a magazine one day. The only experience that I have is a one month internship with a dining and entertainment magazine in San Diego. I’m getting discouraged because I’m finding that San Diego doesn’t have much to offer in the magazine field (versus L.A.). Does anyone know of any magazines or publishing companies in San Diego? Where should I go from here?

Modern Luxury puts out Riviera mag in San Diego, a luxury lifestyle glossy. I believe they are also doing Riviera Interiors, an interior design mag. And, they take on post grad interns. There is also San Diego Magazine, to get you started.
