I’m currently working part-time for a website, but was offered an amazing job doing exactly what I want to do (it’s very exciting!!). Everyone at my current job is super happy for me and it’s great that I’m not burning any bridges or upsetting anyone by leaving.
My question is — is it appropriate to give my senior editors/bosses thank you cards? This was my first real job that wasn’t an internship and really helped me get my foot in the door. Thoughts?

It's a great idea!
I think thank you cards are a great idea. It can never hurt to thank people for such a great working experience. I prefer individual cards for each person. Cater each note to each person you are giving it to. It’s always a good idea to keep in touch with people from previous jobs. Good luck :):)
go for it
It couldn’t hurt, but then, I’m a big fan of thank-you letters for birthdays, Christmas, and even small favors.
The industry is relatively small, and you may find yourself working with, if not alongside, some of the same people one day. Maybe just don’t overdo it with a gushy message that pours onto the back of the card.
Excellent that everyone is being so supportive, that’s rad!!!
