I have an interview at my dream mag tomorrow and need to put together a hard copy portfolio, and I’ve only got one online! How many clips should I use? They asked for “at least three” but I have like 12 I keep in my online portfolio. Should I include my resume at the end too? I’m pretty creative with stuff like this, is there such thing as too fancy?

yes, include your resume in the beginning. i would include all 12 if they are strong. print them out on nice paper or use original clips and put them in a pretty binder with clear sleeves. no need to go crazy on decorating, but it is nice to show a bit of style whether it’s using decorative paper or including a few clips in the end that are your inspirations- you must differentiate these from your own clips, but some eds like to see your style choices (assuming this is for a fashion, style, art or photo position- otherwise it doesn’t make any sense any you should stick to your clips). make sure all are the same size - 8x10 or 8 1/2x11 is a good standard. good luck!
