Has anyone heard back about the EA position at Brides.com? Has anyone ever worked/interned there or at Conde Nast’s bridal group in general? How is it?
…not as uppity as other Conde mags (although not as prestigious, either); also not in the main Conde building. Some of the editors are very sweet; some are needlessly bitchy. Everyone takes weddings seriously (some too much so), but all in all a good place for a little while.
I interned in BRIDES travel a couple summers ago, and I loved it. It’s a great environment. You have a range of editor personalities, like at many NY mags. I also had a friend who interned at Brides.com, and she said it’s quite a bit different, but a lot of fun. You work on a lot of regional issues.
