I live in Philadelphia and am currently at my first job as an EA for a journal publishing company. I want to start looking for magazine positions soon, because that’s what I really want to do.
What are some magazines in Philadelphia?? I’m generally familiar with the bigger names (Philadelphia and Philadelphia Style, etc).
Are there any mags in Philly or the Philly suburbs where I can start my magazine career? Please help!

Mags in Philly? Help!
I live in Philly too, and have a few ideas. I know Magnet, a music mag, is on Chestnut, and MAINLINE is in the suburbs, but we’re really on the short end when it comes to mag jobs. Right now, I’m looking to freelance on the side with my day job, so I’m also looking for as many contacts as I can get, magazines, newspapers, alt-weeklies, you name it. Philadelphians, unite!
