hey all… I applied for a job through a company’s site - so to up my chances I emailed the EA at the mag - and I was pretty surprised she answered! and said she had sent my resume to the hiring editor… is this normal or is this a really good sign? Well it’s certainly good that you got your resume in the right hands and not some bottomless online pit. I did the same thing not too long ago and the ea gave me the correct contact. I sent my resume to that person and got an interview. I’m not confident that I would have by just applying on the company’s site.
