Ed’s back to his raffling game and on Monday, November 12 one super lucky winner will get a chance to meet the legendary Kate White, editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan for 14 years and author of I Shouldn’t Be Telling You This: Success Secrets Every Gutsy Girl Should Know. Plus, the winner will also snag a copy of her must-have career advice book!
Ed will be at The Hill (416 3rd Ave. between 29th and 30th Sts.) from 7-9 p.m. selling raffle tickets for $3 each or four tickets for $10, and sipping on $4 domestic drafts, $5 champagne, well drinks and martinis.
This is a major EIC raffle you do not want to miss! Heck, Ed himself is already jealous of the to-be winner who gets to chat with Kate White! See you there!
FINE PRINT: In order to win a “Chat with an EIC,” a one-on-one meeting with an editor in chief, you must buy a raffle ticket. Ticket sales will only be accepted by junior-level editors and recent graduates (defined as two years from your undergraduate or graduate school graduation date). Tickets can be purchased at the Ed2010 happy hour at The Hill between 7 p.m. and 8:29 p.m. Tickets are $3 at the event. No one person can buy more than 10 tickets to the raffle. On each ticket, you must write your full name, job title (if not employed, say “unemployed”) and email address. The winner will be drawn at random at the Ed2010 Happy Hour at The Hill on November 12th at 8:30 p.m. Tickets that are incomplete and job title or graduation date is not indicated will NOT be entered into the raffle. You do not have to be present to win; we will contact you via your e-mail address. If you do not respond within 7 days to the e-mail announcing that you won, another winner will be drawn at random in your place. Ed2010 will send out an introductory e-mail to you and the EIC, and exchange contact information, but will not make scheduling arrangements—that is the winner’s responsibility. Meetings are valid for 6 months after winning. In case of unforeseen circumstances, Ed2010 reserves the right to substitute the EIC with whom the winner will meet. (But, seriously, that’s not going to happen. Kate is on board! We just have to cover our butts.)
