The Atlanta chapter of Ed2010 will host its second of four in a series of speaker sessions. Scheduled for April 10th, 6.30pm-8.30pm, this second session will feature Stephanie Davis Smith as the guest speaker. The venue sponsor for all sessions is the popular co-working space Hypepotamus, located on the Georgia Tech campus.
Stephanie is the Editor in Chief of The Atlantan and Contributing Editor to Jezebel and Executive Editor of Men’s Book Atlanta. She previously worked with skirt.com and launched Get Married Magazine in 2009. A writer and editor who was formerly on staff at GQ and SELF magazines, she has also written for Gourmet, Domino, Air Tran’s Go, Details, Allure, Brides, Pink, Vitals Woman and msn.com.
Stephanie will share her wealth of experience on how to get writing gigs - freelance and regular, pitching to magazines, building portfolios and more!
