About Ed on Campus at UNC Chapel Hill

CAFME, the Carolina Association of Future Magazine Editors, is UNC’s only magazine club on campus and the official branch of Ed2010. Although it has been recognized as an official campus organization since 2006, the club recently established the Ed on Campus chapter in 2010 and won Ed’s Best New Chapter award that year. This year CAFME has big plans with trips to local and national publications, Skype sessions with top magazine editors in New York and networking opportunities with members through its Happy Hours and CAFME Mentors program. These ambitious students can’t wait to team up with the Ed Board to get one step closer to their dreams of being magazine professionals.

This past summer alone, CAFME members interned at ELLE, Seventeen, Teen Vogue, TV Guide magazine, E! Online, NPR and CNN among many other national outlets. The club hosted a blog similar to Ed’s own Intern Diaries at http://cafmeinterndiaries.blogspot.com/.
