Hey there, EOC chapter presidents! Ed knows that the semester’s just kicked off, but it’s never too early to polish your résumé! The deadline for fall critiques is Oct. 15, and Ed’s changing things up just a bit, so he wants you all to be ready.
NEW: When you send in your chapter’s documents to be reviewed, you must also submit proof that someone in your school’s career center has already looked over all of them. Even though the staff there may not know specifics about magazines, they will be able to give your members super-important tips on organization and formatting (e.g. that it should fit on one page!). When you submit your chapter’s files, please also send either a signed PDF letter on university letterhead or have them e-mail sarah@ed2010.com directly. Either way, please have them include the semester (Fall 2010) and names of the students whose résumés they reviewed. Ed knows it’s an extra step, but he promises it’ll be worth it in the end.
