Caylin Harris is currently an editorial assistant at Good Housekeeping but started her whirlwind romance with Ed while she was Chandra’s intern at Parents. Her past internship experience ranges from working at small local publications to national mags. She’s been an intern at NY Arts, Fairfield Magazine, Pilates Style, The Week, W and Parents.
3 things you might want to know:
1 . Caylin loves being organized and could peruse the aisles of Staples for hours. Just ask her former internship bosses - she rearranged at least one, if not all, of their office storage closets. 2. She is an alum of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and likes to simultaneously credit and blame them for her inability to read a magazine without critiquing it. 3. She can go from reading Chaucer to watching South Park (and if you can do the voices she will love you forever).
3 things you didn’t need to know: 1. She has quite a sizable collection of blank books—all gifts from friends—and thinks that it might be the universe’s way of telling her to get crackin’ on that novel. 2. She is so accident prone that she bumps, bruises or scrapes herself at least three times a day. 3. She loves cooking and entertaining, and if she wasn’t a journalist she would’ve been an event planner.
