Alessandra is the Associate Beauty Editor at O, the Oprah Magazine. Before landing her dream job at O, she interned at MVP|NY, Maxim.com and SELF’s beauty department—where she fell in love with all things makeup. She also freelanced for SELF’s Healthy Beauty Awards and wrote for their print issue and Beyond the Beauty Pages blog. Ale (Ah-leh, not ale) and Ed have been inseparable since they met back when she was a sophomore at Hofstra University.
