About Ed on Campus at TCNJ

Ed on Campus @ TCNJ was started in 2005 by Tammy Tibbetts. We support each other in our quest to achieve our dream jobs and strive to learn all we can about the magazine industry. We reach out to successful TCNJ alumni for advice and host a number of career-building and social events In 2008, Ed2010 declared Ed@TCNJ Best Established Chapter in the nation!

Recent events have included a lecture from Joanna Saltz (Seventeen’s Executive Editor and TCNJ alumna), visits from authors/freelancers Megan McCafferty and Melissa Walker, a roundtable with fashion freelancer Katie Hintz, Q&A with Ed2010 Founder Chandra Turner, and panels on magazine Web sites, entertainment journalism and breaking into magazines. ED@TCNJ has also toured magazine offices, such as Glamour, Entertainment Weekly, Seventeen and Teen Vogue. Recent social events have included an outing to see The September Issue in Philadelphia and dinner at Applebees.
