Reporter
Devin Tomb became an Ed researcher in May 2009 and now serves as a reporter. She is an editorial assistant at Glamour, where she spends most of her day thinking about the Work & Money section (pitches are welcome!) and Glamour’s iPad app. She has interned for CosmoGirl and O, The Oprah Magazine, and neither experience was anything like “The Devil Wears Prada”—except for the free stuff. Now a proud Penn State alum, Devin was also the editor-in-chief of Valley, PSU’s life and style magazine, for two years. Ask her about it and she’ll gladly talk to you for days. (Or maybe just over coffee, if you’re busy.)
3 things to know: 1. She reads the masthead just like any other page in a magazine. 2. She spent 18 years as a ballet dancer before going to college. 3. She is a hardcore scrapbooker.
3 things you really didn’t need to know: 1. If you ever offer her leftover food, she’ll take it. 2. She had a major career move at the age of 10, when she heard herself on tape and realized she would never become a famous singer. 3. She secretly wants Michael Bublé to surprise her at her wedding and sing her favorite song, “Everything.”
