Lauren is a 2009 graduate of Villanova University, and, as such, has yet to change her job title from “intern.” Until that day, though, she continues to fact-check and photocopy with the best of them as an editorial intern at Good Housekeeping. In the past she has also interned at Philadelphia magazine and Martha Stewart Living. Lauren met Ed during a media careers panel at her college, and they’ve been best buds ever since.
3 Things You Might Want to Know: 1. She has a fun blog called In Her Two Shoes, which she’s working on giving bit more TLC. 2. While she majored in communication and journalism in college, her minor was mathematics, so yes, she does in fact understand any numerical jargon she may come across while writing and editing. 3. She’s a beach brat who still lives in New Jersey, and while it’s not ideal, she swears the commute is fine.
3 Things You Really Didn’t Need to Know: 1. She has a mind like a steel trap and remembers exactly what was said in that conversation with you two years ago (but alas, probably not your name). 2. She has eaten eggs from Martha Stewart’s farm. 3. She tap dances (once in a studio, now mostly around her kitchen).
