Born and bred in Philadelphia, Melissa fell in love with Ed during her senior year at Elizabethtown College when one of Ed’s helpers answered her countless questions about breaking into magazines. She officially joined Ed’s team after moving to New York City in 2007. After kick-starting her career with internships at Philadelphia STYLE and Maxim.com, she worked as the Editorial Assistant at Blender.com and then Assistant Editor at Maxim.com. She now spends her days looking at food as the Associate Digital Editor for Kraft’s Food & Family magazine. Melissa has freelanced for Time Out New York, RealBeauty.com, Mainline, and New Jersey Life.
