Katie Bunker is a departments editor for Diabetes Forecast, the consumer magazine of the American Diabetes Association. The magazine celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. She has previously worked as an editorial assistant for Highlights for Children magazine, and as an assistant editor for a publishing company in Cincinnati, Ohio, that produces three regional lifestyle magazines. Katie has lived in the D.C. metro area for almost two years and is excited to lead her fellow aspiring editors in learning more about the biz and the D.C. market.
