After growing up in Chicago's northwest suburbs, Jessica attended the University of Wisonsin's School of Journalism where she earned a BA and a certificate in Badger fanology. There, she spent a year as the food editor of the Daily Cardinal, and a summer in NYC interning for Marie Claire's fashion department (where she had the distinct pleasure of modeling "bad jeans" on morning TV). After graduation, she spent four months sending out approximately 300 resumes before landing an associate editor gig at Estates West Magazine, a national luxury lifestyle pub. Fast-forward to today, and Jessica is the managing editor of DRAFT Magazine, a national men's beer and lifestyle title with a circ. of 200,000. She's also a freelance writer and copyeditor for various mags and businesses, and in her spare time, she's planning a wedding, traveling, rehabbing a Midcentury home, and trying to convince her fiance to buy a darn dog already.
