Julie first fell in love with magazines at the tender age of 7, secretly hoarding stacks of her sister's discarded Seventeen and Cosmopolitan under her bed.<br> Now out in the open about her obsession, she is a junior journalism major at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. She serves as editorial page editor for the campus newspaper, The Marquette Tribune, writing and editing staff editorials and her weekly column as well as designing the pages.<br> She established a chapter of Ed on Campus in February 2007 to rectify the dearth of resources and information regarding magazine journalism (or even a campus magazine, period) on her campus. In addition to organizing future events and activities, Julie and others in Marquette Ed on Campus plan to launch a digital lifestyle magazine for area college students. <br> Julie hopes to follow magazines as they integrate more digital content and prepares for her dream job as a Web editor for a national publication.
