Emily Hendricks
City Chapter Director
Emily Hendricks’ crush on Ed started during the summer of 2003, when she interned for Chandra Czape at Ladies’ Home Journal. After graduation, she landed a job in the features department of All You magazine in NYC, where she is now an associate editor. She assigns and edits the relationship, parenting, friendship and inspiration articles (dream job, what?!). She also freelances a bit on the side. She was a 2003 ASME intern at LHJ. Before that, she worked as a reporter for the Terre Haute (Indiana) Tribune-Star.
3 things to know about her: 1. She graduated from Indiana University in 2004 with a journalism degree. 2. She founded the Ed2010 campus chapter at Indiana
University in 2003. 3. She was managing editor, among several other positions, of her award-winning college newspaper, the Indiana Daily Student.
3 things you really didn't need to know: 1. She follows Indiana University basketball religiously (Go Hoosiers!), loves the Mets and oh yeah, the Super Bowl Champion Colts aren’t so bad either. 2. She looooves Dr. Pepper (preferably from a fountain,
not canned or bottled.) 3. She has two kitties, Stella and Shimi.
