Christie has experience across magazines, newspaper, digital media, and PR. Christie is currently the Senior Web Editor of Cosmopolitan, where she was previously the Web Editor, and started as an Associate Editor. Prior to working at Cosmo, she was an Editorial Assistant at CosmoGIRL!, and has also freelanced for Dance Spirit, Inside Cheerleading, Inside Gymnastics,Glamour, and Time Inc. Before moving to NYC, Christie worked as the PR/Media Assistant for the USA Gymnastics Federation in and as a summer staff reporter for The Times of Northwest Indiana newspaper.
3 Things You Should Know: 1. Christie grew up in a small town in Indiana called Munster. 2. She graduated from Indiana University, where she majored in Journalism and minored in Apparel Merchandising. 3. She used to be the 60-Minute Mentors Director for Ed.
3 Things You Really Didn't Need to Know: 1. She names everything (her laptop is Mr. Miyagi, her Blackberry's is Little Debbie, and her iPod's name is Margarita). 2. In high school, she used to ditch her cheerleading practices to work on the school newspaper. 3. Applesauce grosses her out. Ick!
